Honduras, Santa Barbara
Varietal: Parainema
Process: Natural
Altitude: 1,400 - 1,500 masl

Juicy cranberry and raisin notes with a chocolate mouthfeel and brown sugar sweetness.

The Parainema variety is a hybrid of Timor and Villa Sarchi, initially developed for more commerical use due to its high yield and resistance to disease it has been adopted by specialty producers in Honduras as in this region it creates a high cup score. This Lot in particular we are very excited about. A blend of 5 young producers in the area this is their first attempt at producing for the specialty market. The support and guidance by Benjamin Paz and his team at Beneficio San Vicente, gave these young farmers the confidence to take the risk and aim for higher prices. We’re super happy to be able to offer this coffee to you.
